0025421 - Above , the skull of a Siberian rhinoceros , contemporary with the mammoth skull below , which is in an incredible state of preservation. It was found burried in the bed of a river in 1907 in Siberia . The expedition to recover the remains , found that mammoths used to eat the young shoots of conifer trees .
