Police Stop demonstration at rocket case. A policeman carrying tent poles leads a man off the highway during an anti-nuclear protest demonstration at the Air Ministry's Thor rocket base at Harrington , Northamptonshire. The demonstration - organised by the Direct Action Committee Against Nuclear Warfare - was intended to last a week , but it ended after 90 minutes. Demonstrators who started pitching tents went away with police.
