0418817 - -- A profile perspective from a remote camera shows the Space Shuttle Endeavour as it lifts off into an afternoon sky to begin the STS-108 mission to the International Space Station (ISS). Liftoff occurred at 5:19:28 p.m. (EST), December 5, 2001, from Launch Pad 39B. Onboard were four STS-108 astronauts and three Expedition Four crewmembers en route to replace a three-person crew aboard the orbital outpost.
