Peckham Health Centre or the Pioneer Health Centre was opened in 1935 in Peckham, south London. It was a social experiment to monitor the effects of environment on health. The centre was housed in a purpose built modern building with the emphasis on light and space.
A ladies keep fit class on the roof of the health centre after its reopening after the war in 1946.
