1058488 - Japanese machines enjoyed a great success in the two lightweight solo events during the first day of the Tourist Trophy Race at Douglas, Isle of Man. Honda machines took the first three placings in both the 125 and 250 cc races. Picture shows: Bob McIntyre cornering on his Honda machine during the 250 cc race. McIntyre, of Scotland, led for most of the way, but his engine failed on the last lap to let Hailwood ride to victory.
