WEAVE – Widen European Access to cultural communities Via Europeana - a project funded by the CEF program of the EU.

This project aims to develop a framework to link the tangible and intangible heritage of cultural communities, safeguarding the rich and invaluable cultural heritage which they represent. Read more about WEAVE here

Fifties in Europe - Kaleidoscope is a project funded by the CEF program of the EU.

The project aims at leveraging photographic content in Europeana depicting the 1950s in Europe, connecting today’s citizens with the post-war generation whose dreams of a better life led to the establishment of the European Union. EuropeanaPhotography was a digitisation project playing a key role in ensuring that digital content related to the first hundred years of photography (1839-1939) was accessible in Europeana. TopFoto digitised 60,000 images.

Europeana Food and Drink was a European project funded by the European Commission under the CIP ICT Policy Support Programme (ICT PSP). The project followed the vision to promote the wider re-use of digital cultural resources by the Creative Industries to boost creativity and business development across Europe through the theme of food and drink.
